Career Promotion : Divine Gem : Coral for Mars

Coral, especially a red coral, when worn on person, promotes courage and capacity to defeat enemies. It protects one from dreams and nightmares or even ill health. A good coral should be opaque, roundish edges and regular in shape and colour, and should be smooth surface. It should be without a a black or a white spot or a crack or a hole.

Anyone in whose birth chart Mars is lord of auspicious houses considered either from lagna or rashi (moon sign), can safely wear a red coral for health, wealth and general well-being. A guideline is presented here for deciding whether or not one can wear a red coral.

Red Coral will go well with those represented by Aries, Cancer, Leo Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces. In general, however, coral must be avoided by those born in Taurus, Gemini, Virgo and Libra.

Coral in combination with Emerald can help in promoting the career of chemists and druggists, surgeons, auditors, computer related especially DTP and designing. It is great for those in telephony and communications. A combination of diamond and coral is good for those tending to evil in helping them in humbleness and positive attitude in life, and an evil combination of Venus and Mars. Wearing triangular red coral in the ring and a 3-mukhi with 1-mukhi rudraksh in the neck for self development, greater skills and successes.

It may be remembered that red coral represents Mars and one can selectively be wear red coral during the operating mahadasa or bhukti periods of Mars for ever greater heights in life in career, profession name, fame, prosperity and felicity in life.  For a balanced view, it is better to assess Navamasa and Dasamasa charts, and also the Karkamsha in birth chart, for greater success in career and personal life felicity.

The gem to be worn must be abhimantrit (energized) before wearing, to be effective. Importantly, coral (moonga) is effective for wearing for full three years and three days from the day of its first wearing, after which it losses its luster and capacity to give auspiciousness.  Moreso, gem’s suitability needs periodic reassessment due to changing fortunes and operating dasa and mahadasa periods.
